Syed Muhammad Ali Shah, Director General of Labour Sindh (DGLS), held a meeting with Mr. Habibuddin Junaidi

Syed Muhammad Ali Shah, Director General of Labour Sindh (DGLS), held a meeting with Mr. Habibuddin Junaidi, a veteran trade unionist and President of the Peoples Labour Bureau.

During the discussion, a range of labour-related issues — including the Sindh Labour Code — were thoroughly examined.

Mr. Junaidi commended the initiatives and efforts undertaken by the DGLS to address workers’ concerns. Both parties agreed to convene a meeting with a delegation of labour representatives, to be chaired by the Hon’ble Minister for Labour and Human Resources. The purpose of the meeting will be to reaffirm the government’s commitment that no legislation will be passed that goes against the interests of workers.
